CLI / Terminal
The Command Line Interface or CLI is the way you can interact with your system and programs by entering commands. A lot of the functionality of the CLI can be carried out in a GUI, however there are some very powerful CLI programs and Often it is faster to do things in the CLI than it is in a GUI.
